Do women have longer orgasms than men?

Both women and men have orgasms, but it seems that their duration, intensity, and even number differs from one gender to another. Men have the advantage that they can have an orgasm every time they have sex, while women are harder to satisfy. However, once a woman is satisfied, the intensity of her orgasm will increase in a considerable manner. Since this is a very important subject in the life of many people, researchers have paid attention to it, trying to figure out the secrets of orgasm, both at women and men.
Before starting to talk about the duration of an orgasm, you should know that it has been proven that women have one orgasm at every three male orgasms. This means that it is very rare. Additionally, the studies also show that women who are in a relationship have more frequent orgasms than the ones who randomly hook up with guys. Talking with both and men about this subject, many men have told that they try really hard to give the woman an orgasm, but only when they are in a relation. On the contrary, when they have just hooked up, they do not give a damn. On the other hand, it seems that women know this, and most of them are afraid to ask for an orgasm. Knowing these statistics, the talks about duration might become more defined.
First of all, it is important to keep in mind that women can have multiple orgasms, while men cannot. This is one of the first clues that state that women experience orgasm in a different manner, the intensity being much bigger than the one of their partners. Therefore, even if they do not have orgasms every time they have sex, when they have, it seems that it is worth the wait. Multiple orgasms, i.e. vaginal and clitoral ones, allow women to have longer orgasms. However, the term longer may be also correlated with intensity, mainly because when it is really intense, it might be perceived as longer. Besides this, it has been proven that women have the capability to have more additional orgasms within a short period of time. Some women cannot differentiate these orgasms, especially if they take place in a row, and therefore they feel that the duration is longer. Thinking about this, in some way they are correct. After all, they feel pleasure for a longer amount of time.
However, despite all these differences, and despite the fact that they have different genitals, mainly men and women experience orgasms in the same way. On the other hand, there are some differences that are explored by researchers. Thanks to these results both men and women can increase the quality of their sexual life. If men want to experience orgasms at a different level they should try tantric sex, which will give them an insight about the meaning of a more intense orgasm. This will certainly improve their sexual life with women.
